32 grad students funded by CSC to study abroad



        Thirty two graduate students of Shaanxi Normal University have been funded by Chinese Scholarship Council, an increase in both number and percentage over last year.

        Funded by the council's 2018 Graduate Program for Construction of High-level Chinese Universities, they will study at institutions such as Stanford University, Leeds University, University of Tsukuba, Leiden University, Ghent Universit, Freie Universität Berlin, The University of Adelaide in the USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Belgium, Spain, Japan, and the Netherlands.

        Among them, one is admitted to a master's program, five to joint master's programs, nine to doctoral programs, and 17 to joint doctoral programs. They will receive living expenses and round-trip international flight fare from the council.

        Began in 2007, the Graduate Program for Construction of High-level Chinese Universities selects students from major Chinese universities to study at renowned universities, institutes and labs in countries and regions with advanced education and technologies, so as to train innovative professionals who are internationally minded.
