About the Lecture:
Chao Gejin, born in 1958, Mongolian, doctor of law (folklore), doctoral tutor, member of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, director of the Institute of Ethnic Literature, researcher. His book deals with the basic theories of ethnic minority literature (such as the concepts, objects, and scope of minority literature disciplines, etc.), and involves the construction of basic theories and terminology of epic science, and even the study of poetic and syntactical methods (such as oral epic poetry "Study"); he is also one of the most influential scholars advocating "oral tradition study". Research direction: Minority literature, folklore, folk literature (emphasis on epic). In recent years, he has published more than 20 special reports at international forums such as the United Nations Education Organization Organization Conference, Harvard University, and Missouri University. He also devoted himself to domestic public welfare lectures. He also devoted himself to the promotion of Chinese academic studies to the West and pushed forward the study of Chinese minority literature to the world.
