Lecturer:Paresh Kumar Narayan

Date:2019-04-17

Venue:

About the Lecture:

Quality publications are important. However, if no one reads and cites these papers then its relevance is questionable. Quality and impact should evolve simultaneously. Research should be something that people understand and make use of. Research should have value. Research should have practical relevance. I will discuss these issues with a focus on how to pitch your research in order to generate the type of impact (and indeed citations). A large part of my discussion will be based on my experience not only as a high cite researcher but also as an editor of multiple journals spanning over a decade.
