The empirical results output method of STATA and the capture of network data

About the Lecture:

STATA is a popular software in social science, which is widely used in pedagogy and education economics. Reporting the results is one of the difficulties in the empirical research. Professor Li’s lecture will introduce the newly developedputdoxcommand of STATA15 and thereg2dox,sum2dox,t2doxandcorr2doxcommands developed by his team. These commands can help us to output multiple tables at the meantime, and overcome error codes caused byesttabcommand, so that the results of empirical analysis can be output once and for all.

It is a popular research method in social science to collect data through network, which can obtain a large scale of data conveniently and efficiently. Professor Li’s lecture will also introduce commands of collecting data developed by his team based on STATA, and explain how to use these commands through practical cases. These commands can help us obtain a variety of valuable network data and save it in the output data file in STATA for further analysis.
